How does Single Sign-On work?

IDrive® 360 users can use Single Sign-On (SSO), which enables users to securely authenticate their account and access multiple systems with a single set of credentials. Admin of the accounts can choose a SAML 2.0 identity provider (IdP) like Okta, Azure, OneLogin, AD FS, etc., to sign in to your IDrive 360 account without having to remember another password.

Sign in with an IdP of your choice

Configure an identity provider

Admin of a company or unit needs to register the IDrive® 360 application with a SAML 2.0 IdP to receive the Single Sign-On URL, IdP Issuer URL and X.509 certificate (Base64).

Configure IDrive® 360 account

Admin needs to configure their IDrive® 360 account by providing the sign-on and issuer URLs, and X.509 certificate in the application.

Accessing SSO enabled accounts

Once SSO is enabled, users can sign in to their accounts via web or desktop application. User authentications will be carried out by the IdP; once validated, users can use a single set of IdP credentials for accessing their IDrive® 360 accounts.
